How is your IT team setup in terms of support services?I’m intrigued to know how others have their IT support setup and who they are supporting. This will give me (and hopefully other members) an idea of the options available to us.Currently, our setup is to provide internal support to 1110 users with the following under my role as Service & Support Manager:L1 Service Desk: Service Desk Manager, 2 x Senior Technicians, 4 x techniciansL2 Systems/App support: Systems Manager, 2 x senior technicians, 4 x techniciansService Delivery: SD Manager, 1 x technician Who looks after your Microsoft licensing and other vendor licensing? Who does the research & development to see what end user devices we should bring in to the device lifecycle? Who makes sure devices are still in support by the manufacture (BIOS, Samsung, Android UI etc)? Who is managing the PSTN switch over (UK)? Do you outsource any of your support services? 

To keep TOPdesk user-friendly, future-proof, and consistent, we will implement several changes across the platform on November 23, 2026.Why are we making these changes?A more modern and consistent experienceSome of the functionality we are changing or removing was developed many years ago and no longer aligns with how most customers use TOPdesk today. By letting go of older features and workflows, we can make TOPdesk more intuitive, consistent, and easier to use.More focus on the features customers rely on mostSome features are only used by a small group of customers, have better alternatives available, or no longer fit within TOPdesk’s direction. With this milestone, all human accounts will have a person card, and the person card increasingly becomes the leading card in TOPdesk.The goal of this milestone is to manage linked operators and persons in one consistent way, to make sure the product works as intended, and to use the operator-person linkto make user management easier. We’ve recently heard from several customers that, even when their Community language is set to English, they still see Dutch posts showing up. Thanks to everyone who took the time to flag this and share examples; your feedback really helps us stay sharp.We’ve passed this on to our platform vendor, who has confirmed that this is an issue. Their engineers are working on a fix. For now, there’s nothing you need to adjust on your side.
