What about the improvements we were expecting before AI?
When TOPdesk launched the new Asset Management module, with templates and customizable fields, I saw a very interesting direction for the product: giving us more autonomy to adapt the platform to our own needs.
The improvements that followed in Action Sequences, such as loops, variables, and webhooks, reinforced that perception even further.
Since then, I have been hoping to see that same level of flexibility extended to Incident Management, Change Management, and Self-Service Portal.
I still miss the ability to further customize the operator experience and create fields according to the needs of each process. In the Self-Service Portal, I would also like to be able to build truly dynamic forms, with multiple object selections, conditional behavior, and fields automatically populated based on the user's choices.
I understand that some of these possibilities may be available through consultancy, but I would like to see more of them in the hands of platform administrators, without requiring additional customization costs.
Today, I see many new developments naturally following the AI trend, and I understand the importance of that direction.
But what about these other improvements?
They may not attract as much attention as AI, but I believe they could provide an even stronger foundation for TOPdesk.
Are these improvements still part of the future vision for the product?
