Answers that others, Christiaan included, learn a lot from themselves. And that’s exactly what the Community is all about.Gerwin has been working at HZ University of Applied Sciences in Vlissingen since 2002, where he is part of the Information Management & IT Services department. As is often the case in education, roles are broad and varied—and that suits him perfectly. Nominated by Community Hero @Robin Noppert Today we’re shining a spotlight on @Christiaan Fousert from Gemeente Schiedam. And he responded in such a kind and positive way to something I created."Christiaan has been working at the municipality for 26 years, spending the last few as an application manager. After moving from the Service Desk to Application Management in 2024, he finally found— in his own words — “more time to focus on what I truly enjoy: diving deeper into TOPdesk.”Not only does Christiaan manage TOPdesk, he also oversees the DMS system Corsa. @Robin Noppert was one of the first members to join the early‑access phase of the TOPdesk Community. From the start, he actively joined discussions, shared his thoughts and helped other users find their way. His organization works with a wide range of TOPdesk modules — Incident Management, Asset Management, Change Management, Action Management and, most recently, Operations Management. These modules support teams such as Care Mediation, Production Administration, Facilities and IT. Because TOPdesk is so central to his daily work, the community plays an important role for him. “Within my organization I sometimes miss fellow admins to exchange ideas w
