Got your question answered? Take two seconds to mark the best reply. It sounds like a small gesture, but it makes a big difference for the whole community.

Why mark a Best Answer?

  • Anyone who asks the same question later sees the solution straight away — without reading every reply.
  • The person who helped you earns points and advances in rank. A great way to acknowledge their effort.
  • Topics with a marked answer are easier to find — including via search engines.
  • The community stays organized: solved questions are recognizable at a glance.

How to do it — 3 steps

  1. Go to the topic where your question was answered.
  2. Find the reply that helped you most.
  3. Click the checkmark icon ( ) at the bottom of that reply. ✔

Done! The answer now appears at the top of the topic, marked as Best Answer.

Good to know

  • Only you as the topic starter can mark a Best Answer.
  • You can update the marking later if a different answer turns out to be better.
  • Checkmark not showing? Check whether the topic was created as a Question (Q&A) — this option isn't available for Conversations.
  • Found the solution yourself? Post it as a reply and mark it as Best Answer — that way everyone benefits.

💡 Scroll back through your own open topics. Any questions that have been answered but not yet marked? A few clicks make the community a lot more useful!

Thank you for doing this. Together we keep the community valuable.
