A consequence of the changing file maintenance settings is that you might use a file maintenance configuration that doesn’t fit the new settings structure anymore. Therefore, in some cases, we had to disable certain settings.

For this reason, we recommend everyone to check your file maintenance settings. This way, you ensure that your keep on managing data in your environment responsibly and without any data risks.

I highly recommend Sys Admin’s use the Responsible data management widget on your TOPdesk home screen with quick links that provide Insights and Personal data protection area’s too as an extension to the file maintenance area!

We did look at it but we are a bit scared of removing data we might need later on… We also have the same with anomization of people who have been archived… what IF we do need to know something that happened in the past...

if its ‘that important’ would a knowledge article and link it to the call suffice? it's an approach we (well some of us) are taking and the ai knowledge element might make this a tad easier.
