We’re introducing new AI capabilities in TOPdesk, and we want to make sure we use wording that’s clear and intuitive for you. Which term do you prefer for referring to these capabilities?

Feel free to vote, and if you have a quick thought on why you prefer one over the other, we’d love to hear it in the comments.

Thanks for helping us keep things clear and consistent!

Ai features are user facing, and a great marketing add as a top-level bullet point as a sales thing in my experience

Ai functions are more technical, classification, segmentation, tokenisation and sentiment analysis but that blurs lines with functionality when i think people are trying to describe…

A capability (guess what i voted for?) - skills, potential, what it's able to do as opposed to trying to make it do and/or not quite ready or trained in. you might use functions to build a feature to increase a products capability when compared with product x

I wasn't biased based on the name of this topic or poll name and dare i say i reasoned my response (AI joke) but in truth they are all correct in one way or another.

@NickB thanks for your prompt and complete response - very insightful.

I wonder what other thoughts we can get from our customers. Based on this, we will create/update communication materials to help you and your teams easily grasp what we've been developing for you 🙂. Does anybody have different ideas?
