Hi Topdesker’s

We can see that you have something interesting in the Topdesk Market Place, a connector for Servicenow.

This is a nice piece of documentation: https://developers.topdesk.com/ :-)

First, Is this connector a two way connector (bi-directional) so we can do case creations on both  sides? We intent to have customers Topdesk integrated to Atea’s Servicenow.

Second, do you guys have support for OAUTH2 (Token based authentication) ?

Best Regards

Hi @SteenSchuster ,

Do you mean this one?
https://marketplace.topdesk.com/link-topdesk-servicenow/

If so, the answer is that it's unidirectional.

And TOPdesk is not using OAUTH2 (yet).

It's fairly simple to set one up using that's bi-directional by the way using a simple business rule on the ServiceNow side and an action sequence on the TOPdesk side.

Thanks for an fast answer, quite useful. We (at the Atea end) managed to store a record in the Topdesk Sandbox environment we have access to :-) but the info around the connector being unidirectional is good for documentation purposes. I found the one-way thingie in the documentation, I just wanted to be 100% sure.

If you want to test OAUTH2 at some point, please let us know.

Have a great day

And TOPdesk is not using OAUTH2 (yet).

Depends on the details of the OAuth pattern used. Simple client id/secret exchange for a bearer token can be set up easily.
