Hi Community...seeking advice on some good practice for adopting when using the Operations Module. I’m understanding the basic model BUT I’m keen to capture ad hoc activities but I can’t see how I can add them against a series - they are one off. Can anyone share their own practices for setting up and scheduling. Thanks

We do the following:

  • Top level Schemas
  • Series - linked to a Schema but are for recurring activities only.
  • Operational Activities - linked to a Schema but are for one-off activites only.  We use these for ad-hoc activities.  They are not linked to a Series, just the Schema.

I also have a selection of all one-off OAs that I review from time to time to see if the Operators should have created recurring series instead.
