Hi all,

We are looking for an easier way to get overviews of SSP forms that are linked to a change template (and which template) and vice versa.

Our current practice is using "SSP” in the titles of change templates so we can sort on this. In the notes section of the template we write down the name of the linked SSP form. However, this is error prone as one might forget, or updates on one or the other aren't processed and cause confusion. Does anybody have a more stable solution that doesn't depend on human perfection?

As far as I know there is currently no option for an “automated” overview or export for linked templates and forms in TOPdesk. But if this is present, I gladly find out!

Thanks for your input!

Hi Kim,

Another option you could use is to designate some of your optional fields to this.
If you have a free optional text field, you could name this something like ‘SSP form name’ and paste the name of the form used in it when you create it.

This way you can create a selection where you filter for the fields ‘SSP form name’ and ‘Template’.
Then you can check which forms correspond with which templates and run analysis accordingly.

Unfortunately this does not remove the need to keep track of this manually. Since there are no good options to run selections on SSP forms with some insight in the data used in the forms itself, I do not know of a way to get this overview easily, without keeping track of it somewhere with manual checks involved.

Hi Joost,
Thank you that's a good option! We have some clients that already used up all their optional fields but it might be applicable for some. Hopefully we'll get a future update were manual maintenance is no longer required but this might be a nice solution in the meantime.
